Made for keeping, not for the season.
Lumière began with a quiet frustration. Fine jewelry had become either wildly expensive or quietly disposable, with very little left in between. We wanted to make pieces that felt precious and fairly priced at the same time.
So we work directly with cutters and a small bench of jewelers, skip the markup of the marble-floored showroom, and put the savings back into the stones and the craftsmanship. The result is jewelry good enough to become an heirloom.

Machines can cut a stone, but a setting is finished by a person. Each prong is bent, burnished and checked under loupe by one of our jewelers before a piece ever leaves the studio. It is slower. We think it shows.
