Our Story
Precious should not mean precious about it.
We started Lumière because fine jewelry had drifted to two extremes. Wildly expensive on one side, quietly disposable on the other, with very little worth keeping in between.
Our founder spent a decade buying gemstones for other people's brands and watched the same stone get marked up four or five times on its way to a glass case. The stone never changed. Only the story around it did, and the price tag that came with the story.
So we built the brand we wished existed. We work directly with cutters and a small bench of jewelers, sell straight to you, and put the savings back where they belong, into the stones and the craftsmanship. A diamond from us is the same diamond you would find under a famous name, without the famous markup.
